Cascade Land Surveying uses the newest technology to perform our field measurements, data collection, drafting and mapping. Our field equipment consists of the new Trimble S-series robotic surveying instrument used in conjunction with the TDS Ranger Windows CE data collector. This system allows our field technicians to work alone or as a team in the most accurate and timely manner possible. When a one-person field crew is utilized with this technology it reduces our field costs and therefore reduces the overall costs to our clients. Once data is brought to the office, our Terramodel software takes over. Terramodel is a survey friendly drafting program that also performs office calculations. The new “AutoDraft” feature allows our field data to be drawn automatically per our entered parameters and standards. This feature greatly reduces drafting time, which also saves our clients time and money. Terramodel converts drawings to all versions of Autocad.
